Bruton Forum

September 12, 2019

 

This September, Bruton Parish will begin hosting a series of lectures on some of the central teachings of Christianity with special attention to the ways these ideas connect with culture, public life, and the sciences. Lectures are free and open to the public with a reservation online.  Lectures will be held in Bruton Parish Church at 7:30pm, followed by receptions in the Parish House. 

 

Friday, September 13 - Scripture and the Knowledge of Salvation 

 

Friday, October 25 - Seeing through a Glass, Darkly: Scientific and Scriptural Knowledge

 

Monday, February 3 - Trinity and Unity in the One God

 

Monday, March 30 - The Fullness of Time: Jesus Christ, Time, and Modernity
