“Family Frights at Jamestown Settlement,” a Halloween-themed museum night for elementary-school-age children, returns on Friday and Saturday, October 20 and 21. Trick-or-treating, ghostly tales, and grisly games are among activities offered from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Visitors will experience ghost stories, face painting, and fortune-telling along a spooky “Forest of Frights” boardwalk, where ghostly specters dot the
landscape. Children can make creepy crafts and compete in games like pumpkin bowling, hula-hoop, and beanbag toss. Admission is $7 per child, ages 4-12, and $3 per adult. Children ages 3 and under are free.
Jamestown Settlement, a museum of 17th-century Virginia, is located at 2110 Jamestown Road. For more information about Family Frights, click here or call (757) 253-4838.
