Tek Fusion Global Named One of 2017 Best Places to Work in VA; Will Participate in VALET Program

February 3, 2017

On Feb. 2, Virginia Business announced its 2017 Best Places to Work in Virginia and named Tek Fusion Global, Inc. (TFG) as one of the winners. The 2017 Best Places to Work in Virginia list is made up of 100 companies, who must first all meet specific criteria and are then surveyed by a third party and finally ranked.

TFG is an engineering services company with a focus on the integration of special Mission Management and Weapons Management systems onto military and civil aviation platforms. Specific services offered include hardware engineering, software development, systems integration, management and testing for domestic and international government and business-to-business clients. TFG is located in New Town in a 7,000 square-foot space. TFG is a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) and was founded in 2011. TFG employs 26 employees and is currently hiring entry level software and quality assurance engineers, and a technical writer.

“We strive to attract the most talented people in the James City County and Peninsula area by making Tek Fusion Global a challenging and rewarding place to work,” said Mary McDougall, CEO. “Our people make the difference.”

Additionally, TFG announced last month that they are a participant in the 2017 Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program. VALET helps Virginia companies in expanding their international business through a comprehensive two-year business acceleration program. On average, companies experience a 54% increase in international sales during and immediately following the program.
